Miriam Slaugh

Our nurse practitioners specialize in the care of cancer patients and their unique needs. They work with the team to care for you and your family and will explain possible side effects of treatment and how you can manage them. In addition, they assess how you are doing throughout treatment and will help you cope with the changes you may experience.

Miriam is a native of Lawrence, KS. She joined Precision Cancer Care in January 2014. She earned her MSN degree from Washburn University and BSN from Baker University. She has 28+ years of combined experience as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner. She is a member of Oncology Nurses Society and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Miriam loves being part of the oncology team providing patient-centered care, spending individual time with patients, and supporting families through the cancer continuum. Miriam is married and has 2 children. She enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering in the community.
